The cyclone “Victor” landed in the Solomon Islands yesterday and it is reported that Honiara is the worst affected area where six people were dead and eighteen people were injured, meanwhile more than twenty houses were destroyed leading more than one hundred people homeless.

Early yesterday morning, meteorologists from the Nadi Weather Centre detected a cyclone moving forward the Solomon Islands and named it “Victor”, residents were informed of this message by government officials and got prepared for the upcoming weather. However, the impact “Victor” had brought to local people is massive that the local  entity need to get recovery later on.
